The Woodstock-based ministry of music, Faithful Folk (Tobias, Ginny, Mark, and David), combine their voices and instruments in a wonderful blend of new songs in a folk style and with fresh readings of traditional gospel music. On this CD the folk are joined by many of their friends to bring you a joyful as well as contemplative mix of music.
"Bound For Zion" is the third full-length Faithful Folk CD. The word "Zion" has many meanings and associations, but here refers to the people of God and the heavenly reunion in Christ. Therefore the title "Bound For Zion" speaks of the journey to a world beyond our own where God's love reigns supreme.
