Eyes Like Mine formed in Portland, OR in the cold winter of early 2007.
The members are: Jay, Vocals; Kevin, Bass; Marc, Guitar; Jack, Guitar;George, Drums.
The band formed with Jay and Kevin searching to build the band. Jay called upon childhood friend and former band mate Marc to fill in the guitar slot. Jack and George came in from a broken up metal band and thusly rounded out the quintent.
History and friendships run deep with this band and the lyrical and musical content runs even deeper giving the listener the reward of each musicians musical past.
Eyes Like Mine is a vision of sound, listen.

Riding the crest
author: erikhane@hotmail.comA refreshing ode to the old school. No machines allowed. Some electricity and amplification is all thats needed. This music rides the fine line between flashy and tasteful, which makes it interesting yet easy to follow. The band is driven by rock solid bass and drums. All of the tracks keep your head nodding, but watch out, there are intermittent meter changes that keep it interesting. The dynamics change suddenly, while the tempo keeps it driving. A lead guitar injects some quick work on the neck. Another guitar holds it down with some power chords and tasty melodies. The vocals are fueled with emotion and power. If this were a pizza Id eat it!
