Flipper Action Culture scores big with the compilatation CD Hot Pinball Rock Volume 1. Inspired by multiball magazine, a long-running indie publication dedicated to the spirit of pinball, Hot Pinball Rock Vol 1 collects all the split 45's released with issues 15-19. As a bonus, 9 additional tracks appear original to this CD. Also included, a twelve page booklet featuring photos and quotes pulled from the magazine's entire publication history. The premise behind the music on this CD was to find bands interested in recording songs inspired by the grand game of pinball. The result? An imaginative collection of songs recorded by an exceptional and diverse selection of indie rock voices from the late-90's.
