notes
First solo album in 20 years for the ex 10cc lead singer, guitarist and writer.
Eric Stewart started his musical career as the guitarist and backing singer with Wayne Fontana and the Mindbenders in the early sixties and the band had hits across the world. When Wayne split from the band Eric took over as lead singer and they had an immediate huge hit with Groovy Kind of Love.
In the late sixties Eric started Strawberry Studios with Peter Tattersall and eventually Graham Gouldman, Lol Creme and Kevin Godley came on board. Eric, Lol and Kevin formed Hotlegs and were then joined by Graham in 1972 and they became 10cc. They had many worldwide hits, including Rubber Bullets, I'm Not In Love, The Things We Do For Love, I'm Mandy Fly me and Dreadlock Holiday.
Eric produced two albums for Sad Cafe, which included their huge UK hit Everyday Hurts. In the 80s he worked on three albums with Paul McCartney, co-writing many tracks on the Press To Play album, and he sang on albums for Eric Woolfson and Alan Parsons in the 90s. Eric also produced an album for Abba's Agnetha Faltskog in 1985.
10cc had two brief reunions in the early 90s and Eric has been a solo artist with his own Strawberry Soundtracks label since then.

author: MASAYUKI NINOMIYABecause I bought it in a net for the first time from the foreign country, I worried, but what I purchased decisively was good. I can mention a sound of pleasant ERIC brightly and am satisfied very much. Do its best from ERIC, this! I can do my best, too.

author: Jan SewelénWonderful CD from my longtime idol Eric Stewart. First heard 10 cc in the midseventies. Since then the group has been my musical companion. "Do Not Bend" is a real surprise. Real fresh music. Highly recommended.

author: Kenneth ThornfeldtThis is a very good album. I am very glad to find it here. Now I can play it in my music program Flying, which I send every Sunday between 19.30 and 21.30 at Radio Eskilstuna 92.5. This program can be heard over internet all over the world. I play 10cc there together with other groups like Queens, ABBA, Beach Boys, Pink Floyd and solo Beatles. And I should more happy if I also could fing the other solo Eric Stewart albums, Girls and Frooty Rooties.

author: JillI keep singing bits of these songs out loud, they've really penetrated my brain. Haven't done that since my teens.
