Ernest L. Batz, Sr. a.k.a. The Flying Dutchman made his mark in 1964 on the Dutchman Label with early hits: My Happiness, Silver Bells, Too Skinny Polka, and many old time favorites. The Flying Dutchman has become well-established in Pennsylvania as a household name... as he also sings many of his songs in Amish, German, and Dutch, as well as English.
The Flying Dutchman has also appeared on many TV and radio shows over the last 40 years as a favorite guest on the East Coast networks.
