notes
Erin is a bass player, a singer and a songwriter. She has been recording her first full length album in Weilheim, Germany with Mario Thaler, producer of some amazing bands including The Notwist, Lali Puna and Ms John Soda. This is a preview of the album with different versions of 3 songs, one bonus song and 2 bonus remixes, one by Roger O'Donnell (Psychedelic Furs, The Cure) and one by London based shoegazing/electronica outfit Ecce.
Erin is from a creative and musical background having grown up in Montreal Canada with a puppeteer mother and father the rock bass player from April Wine. She played bass in all variety of bands across the US and Canada including a stint on keyboards in engrossing pop punk group TUULI, before meeting Roger O'Donnell the keyboard player for The CURE who encouraged her to focus on her songwriting. Erin and Roger began writing together in 2002 and loved the results. Erin moved to the UK and is currently recording in Devon and playing around Europe. Erin sings on 4 songs of Roger's solo record "The Truth in Me" to be released in the fall.
As well as bass and singing Erin plays trumpet accordion and theremin which makes for an eclectic sound and live show which varies as other musical friends in different towns clamber onto the stage with harps cellos or ukuleles.

Beautiful! 'Happy to see you' is pure magic. It's got an ethereal quality that took me right into the mellowest part of myself.
Increases Deja Vu Experiences!
author: Robbie OwenThis is the kind of music I'll suddenly be reminded of during some confluence of otherwise insignificant events. Like when sitting in an empty park watching the Fall leaves swirl by.
Ambient to the best
author: Johanna AtilanoSuch a perfect sound, to the right melody. Voice of an angel and talent of a God warrior. "Happy To See You" is probably the best song out of the whole CD. Lyrics orgin to the best poet and the sound of such originality. Even the song name catches my heart. It is a CD that I will most likely close my eyes and let the music follow through. Erin Lang has done it and this preview CD is something to erupt her talents. Short, but long lasting love. I cannot wait for her full album. Roger O'Donnell has done a great job too,i applaud to him. They are the partners in crime and talent. Erin Lang is the Portishead of the future.
Fantastic!
author: Andrea RobertsonThis album is a MUST HAVE! Charged with emotion. When I listen to it I feel like I am being transported into a slice of life, that I can really relate to. An obviously talented girl who is filled with insight and love!
Weaving stories through the art of music and sound.
author: Mary SweatmanThere is so much music out there, so much generic sound…but this pushes the limits and takes you to a new musical space. Choose your own adventure is the cd I play in the morning, late in the evening, over dinner, and most importantly for friends who appreciate the art of music and sound. Erin’s songs weave stories, and bring me musical peace.

Hypnotizing and emotional is the best way to describe the songs on this CD. Erin Lang takes a different perspective on music that makes you wish you had thought of it first. We will see a lot from this beautiful and talented artist in the future, watch out for the full length.
Melodic Electro Pop
author: Euan GalballyErin's CD is brilliantly fresh and mellow yet quite uplifting. It's well worth a listen and I am eagerly anticipating the full album which I hope will more adequately express Erin's vocal range and ability.
