Eric Weinberg sings the blues … and the reds and the greens and every other color of the rainbow. This versatile singer/songwriter has performed across the country and across the ocean. Every time he steps behind a microphone Eric Weinberg offers up music and lyrics that touch the mind and embed in the heart.
Eric's new CD Get Back Up Again is an eclectic blend of adult-contemporary tunes with strong rock, blues, and country influences. It's part-autobiography, part absurdity. Songs like Sun's Gonna Shine and the title cut, Get back Up Again recall feelings of uncertainty and hope as Eric struggled to overcome a long and serious illness. Back Seat Becky introduces us to a woman with a gift for grins and sins. And the award-winning Military Road is a powerful, haunting story of loss.
Eric has won many prestigious song-writing awards. In addition he has composed and arranged soundtracks for documentaries, videos and children's programs. Eric also has written musical satire for National Public Radio's
Morning Edition.
Eric Weinberg, a graduate of Berkelee College of Music, currently lives in Burke, Virginia just outside Washington, DC with his wife, Nora, and his faithful labradoodle, Dallas.

The music falls stylistically in a range between blues rock and country rock, and Weinberg extends the limits of the genres. The song writing is first rate, with lyrics that are personal and heart-felt, and chord progressions and melodies that are fresh and unusual. For this reason, the CD bears repeated listening, as the tunes grow on you the more you listen.
