It's better quality, and you get to hear the whole song.
This is the first record that I've made since moving back to my home town of Clarksburg, WV. Appropriately named "Long Walk Home," recording began at my studio in January 2006. The final product is seeing it's debut in November of the same year and features six original songs, plus a version of the Beatles "Eleanor Rigby."
Normally a pop/rock writer, I also recorded a children's song I wrote entitled "Read A Little More." It's got an "educational twang" to it.
Outstanding guitar work throughout the record by Glen Shaffer (http://www.glenshaffer.com/), especially on "Friends I Choose" and "Bury Me Standing."
Mark Dinaldo plays the drums and rocks out on "Eleanor Rigby" while Dr. Jenny Canfield melts the strings.
Joey Spagnuolo mysteriously replaced my original bass tracks, on two of the songs, with his own one day while I wasn't looking. (I still haven't figured out how he did that.)
Anyway, buy "Long Walk Home." And if you're not lauging by the end of track 4, you have no soul.
P.S.
If you're a West Virginia University Mountaineer fan, track 7 is for you. And if you've been to the game, you might be on there. But don't expect to receive royalties. "Let's Go Mountaineers!"

CHEESY!! BUT IN A GOOD WAY!
author: D King"Cheese" kicks off with a nice in your face riff. "Friends I Choose" has some fiery lead work behind an acoustic based jammer. "Anytime" is a good example of the cool phrasing and nice harmonies found thru out the disc. Over all, a thoroughly enjoyable listening experience. Good tunes, well done production, THUMBS UP!
