Eric Elias' music is described as a creative blend of folk, blues and jazz.
Eric likes to call it "funky folk music."
In concert, Eric performs most often as a solo guitarist (everything from finger style folk to jazz, classical and Brazilian pieces) on both his steel and nylon string guitars.
He has been described as one of the funkiest acoustic guitarists on the East coast. (Free Time Magazine).
Eric has also been nominated as one of Harford, CT's best solo performers.
"Footprints" is Eric's 6th CD displaying his original fingerstyle acoustic guitar pieces.
The Hartford Advocate decribes his CD as "Beautiful solo acoustic guitar music." This current CD brings together Eric's steel and nylon string compositions for an eclectic display of great acoustic guitar playing.
