EMPRESS AYEOLA announces herself to the world with ' ISAT INNAT ' her debut album now released by GADDAMAWEH PRODUCTIONS, with songs full of 'love, joy', and 'respect' for the teachings of HIM EMPEROR HAILE SELASSIE I.
From 'Jah Jah love',' Take care of our children', through to 'Ketch him heng him' and the dub-poetry influenced 'Warring' the album resonates with messages of unity and peace. The tunes were recorded in the U.K and in Jamaica, with contributions from LUTAN FYAH on 'My Father Protect Me' and DUCHY- P 'Are we Living' a DJ flavoured track. The Youths of Today, is another outstanding track, delivered in militant, roots reggae tradition.
' ISAT INNAT ' is 17 songs of raw passion and power with unrepentant devotion to HIM Haile Selassie 1.
Top producers such as Carlton 'BUBBLERS' Ogilvie & Kenton 'Fish' Brown (RUFF CUT BAND), Kenny Edgehill & Nereus Joseph (SIRIUS RECORDS), Sandy Thompson (AFRICA RIVER NILE), SISTA all female band and (PENTHOUSE) have combined to produce crisp arrangements and biting rhythms for the positive energy of Empress Ayeola.
Empress Ayeola started developing her talents as a teenager with SONIA SPENCE (Leaving on a jet plane) in Jamaica. Her high energy, live act has seen her perform in Europe over the last four years, appearing with Mighty Diamonds, Pat Kelly, Sugar Minott, Jah Mason, Sister Carol and others, on concerts in France and the U.K.
Since the launch of this album appearances in Miami (May 05) with Beris Hammond and Marcia Griffiths, followed by dates in Switzerland with Capleton, IJahMan Levi, and in Austria with Desmond Dekker have kept her on a heavy schedule over the summer months.
Up-coming dates include New York with Kymani Marley and Yami Bolo, then UK shows at Leeds Carnival coupled with a rigorous promotional campaign including Radio, T/V and Magazine interviews have all helped establish the increasing popularity and reputation of the 'Fire Mamma' as she is also known.

Blessed Love! Great CD fi ah first!
author: Herman G. BrownBless up! I bought this CD because I own a few Empress Ayeola tracks on some mixed cds. Once I found out that the artiste had an album, I tried finding the album, but did not have any luck until I was referred out to www.cdbaby.com. This is a well put together as well as a wicked cd. My favorite tracks are: Jah Jah is Love, Warring, and Take care of the Children, and Higher an Higher. More strength to Empress Ayeola! Da one ya bless!
