notes
In the early 1930’s, the world fell in love with a little girl named Shirley Temple. Now more than 70 years later, it’s time for another little sweetheart to steal our hearts and her name is Emma Mead.
In 2006, Eric and Stephanie Mead went to Dan Whitley, Founder of the Notable Youth Foundation, with a desire for their daughter, Emma, to learn his Speech-Like Singing technique that he and been teaching to children of all ages for over 30 years. After a year of music and performance training, it was apparent that Emma was born with a love for music and natural skill in both breath and pitch control. Her natural abilities combined with her dedication to not only private vocal lessons, but also the Whitley Music School group lessons have produced extraordinary results. It has been said that anything worthwhile that a young child learns is due to diligent parenting and consistent and proper training. Because of her parents’ constant support, Emma willfully gave her full attention and effort in every lesson and early morning recording session. Family and friends believe that Emma has a special talent that should be shared with others.
Now at age six, not only will Emma be starting the First Grade, but she is also releasing her first CD.
