Fresh & Honest
author: Jess KapsI greatly appreciated the fresh and honest sound that makes up the album, Every Pulse, by Emily White. Emily's voice is so beautiful, and so is the musicality throughout the CD, and her songs will not disappoint the listener. My personal favorite songs on the album are probably "Everything for This" and "Typical." Also, go hear Emily live, if at all possible! She's a great performer, and knows how to entertain the crowd in between her songs. If you like Brandi Carlile, Regina Spektor, Ani DiFranco, and/or Dar Williams, you will most likely be drawn to the music of Emily White, as well. Keep up the amazing work, and I definitely look forward to the release of your new album!

author: Collected SoundsThis is a really great record. If you like Ani and people like her but are willing to go a little mellower at times, and need to have intelligent and well-written lyrics this is perfect for you.
