notes
constructive noise. destructive noise. a little more than a year now and we find ourselves surrounded by that very sound. songs and format constantly reshaping and evolving. more on our own now than ever. we, four individuals separated by wires and cable leaning in together to hear what becomes of that noise. anticipation never waning, we are anxious to see what becomes of our efforts.
it leaves little room for a nervous hesitation that sometimes guides our decisions. and yet, here we sit, blanketed by the warming hum of amplifiers listening to that noise. crucial noise. vital noise...

Great Post-Rock School
author: EdoardoBeauty & strong emotions. First time, already classic. Key Tracks: A New Beginning + His Hammer Is My Axe.
Amazing
author: Emery Reel FanEmery Reel has a clean, fresh sound. They're unbelievably meticulate and don't let any noise pollute their vision. If you get the chance to see them live, you'll notice how deliberate they are in producing every note. This CD reflects their polished music - a very impressive effort from an unknown band. If they keep up this level of performance, they won't go unnoticed very long.
a journey worth taking
author: Joeri SebrechtsI love listening to this late at night, with the lights off, just drifting along, immersing myself in the sound flowing in from my headphones. It lets me forget, and remember, at the same time. Listening to this is definitely a journey worth taking.

Like drapes of beauty hanging from the stars, mists of prophecy that drift over the dead grasses, blending the expanses of Electronic ambiance with the linear thought-travels of the inquisitive mind; an exquisite marriage between Sigur Ros and Mogwai. If your world was made of water.
GYBE like.
author: Ryker JonesIn the veins of Sigur Ros..
author: JimA pretty good album. These are very impressively composed songs, with each beat and sound layered exceptionally well. If you're a fan of Icelandic bands like Sigur Ros or Mum or any such like instrumental geniuses, then you may as well add this one to your collection.
Holy Crap
author: MarkI just saw these guys perform last night at the Aireline show, about to order the cd very soon. It was the very best local show I have ever been too thanks to them. Words can't even describe the talent these guys have and the beauty that the music has. After their first song, they were instantly one of my absolute favorite bands EVER. I HIGHLY recommend this band to everyone.
Instrumental shock and awe
author: KierAn awesome headphone experience. Razor sharp production (no hiding behind walls of reverb here) makes the music immediate, cleansing, and most of all, affecting. Like hearing a thunderstorm underwater and then surfacing into teeth of the storm... well, whatever, this music is thrilling and chilling in all the right ways. Highly recommended.
I can't stop listening to the last track.
author: Jonathan BoggessIt's like they're aliens, visitors from a planet where everything is made of music, and this is just what they hear every day. Shimmering textures, excellent usage of tension and release, I can't imagine this album sounding any other way. Good stuff.
most thought provoking instrumental albums ever!
author: Chris L.I can't stop listening to this album, I play it at least twice a day, and I still have to fit in time for Radiohead, Deftones, and Sigur Ros. I get extremely sad when I find a band of this quality on accident, everyone should be listening to this album. All you need is a true love for music, and this band will sweep you off your feet. If anyone from Emery Reel reads this please keep making music, and come to Tucson,az if you have the time.
