Emer Sounds …. as unique as her name.
Toronto born, Emer was raised in B.C., Toronto and Ireland. Growing up in a musical family, she was exposed to a variety of musical forms from traditional Irish to Soul to the Beatles. She began her study and love for music at an early age with the piano. The beauty behind her music and her sound has been crafted through years of study, experience in multiple bands, and grounded in a B.A. in Music from Humber College in Toronto. Though her sound continues to shift, form and evolve, it remains heavily influenced by pop, jazz folk and indie rock. From the start Emer’s sound has simultaneously been calming, melodic, spontaneous – yet distinctive. Emer is at home on stage and is an excellent performer. She has just finished her first professional recording entitled "Lucid Dreams", that is to be released this summer.
