Emalazarus is back with volume 2! Ben Decter and Christian Bordal reunite as the dynamic songwriting/production duo. The beautiful Jackie Sloan (vocals), Jeff Russo (bass) and Matt Cooker (cello) once again add their sonic support to this project.
When, you ask, would you need to listen to these songs?
Let’s say you’re out walking, and it’s a beautiful night. Maybe it’s been snowing. And maybe you’re feeling kind of lonesome cause your girlfriend just left you a voicemail saying she’s going out with some friends from work. The moon is sitting on the arch of the old bridge as the last boxcars of a freight train disappear over it. And down by the empty playground, two dogs are sniffing and pawing each other. And it reminds you of that Asian girl that works at the pedicure shop in the strip mall by the supermarket. You could walk that way. She might still be there. You just need a little music in your ears to complete the picture…
