Rock is back? It never really left. Elroy plays concise, catchy rock songs, and is proud of it. Wilco's long lost brother? The Stone's illegitimate sons? (biologically possible) With lots of infamous influences, the band carries "rock" into the 21st Century giving it its own distinctive twist. Too much influenced by classic popular rock to be an "indie band, with absolutely no metal influences to put it into a new rock category, too loud for folk rock, and not well behaved enough to play your wedding or function, the band has no easy category to be pigeon-holed into.
The album is a collection of 11 diverse songs, recorded on vintage recording gear, using a lexicon of vintage sounds. Guitars, bass, drums, and Hammond organ with vocals, it's a familiar sound as soothing as a visit from your old friend, but new and refreshing at the same time. The band set out to make a Sticky Fingers for the 21st Century, check it out and see what you think.

Good Rock roots juice ...
author: 'zinemasterYou want a good Rock roots juice ? We have it ; guitars, bass, drums, Hammond organ and vocals, all is here ! ELROY delivers a concise and catchy classic Rock which smell dust, BBQ smokes, grass and the foam in the glass... There is here an inimitable sound (and a familiar odor of a certain favorite brown liquid...) which it is pleasant to find again, for example, between a hopping Punk Rock title and a Massive Rock bullet...
