I am a singer songwriter from southern california. After writing songs and working as a musician throughtout southern california for years I decided it was about time to dedicate myself to something I really love. Songwriting! I first started this album project in early 1999 as sort of a test of my dedication and love for songwriting. By the time I released it in august 2000 I had over 500 orders for sales months before it was even complete. All people had heard of my not yet released album were just short segments of the songs , yet they were still sold. I have sold around 1800 copies of this album wold wide since 2000 and have continued to sell more and more each day. This was a fun album to do. ALL OF THE TRACKS were done in one take! Part of the fun in this project was deciding how to produce it. This album was under-produced intentionally, it was supposed to be the rock equivalent of a "REAL" blues album. Take away the buzz of a blues guitarists guitar and amp along with the sacrifice of soul for perfect sound and you have a not so convincing blues album. Myself as a musician can appreciate the importance of good sound quality however, not everything should sound perfect! The album sounds great. However, there are almost no overdubs at all and NO SAMPLES! Somehow I feel we as artists or musicians have lost sight of the most important thing. The artistry not the sound is the most important thing in what we do! Remember, you can have the best sound quality in the world but if you dont have a song, you dont have a song! For anyone that likes good old fashioned rock and roll thats easy to listen to here you go!
