'EL'E'VEN was begun as a writing project towards the end of 2002 and, with an allegiance to Captive Recordings during the early part of 2003, it has since taken on a more established format based around the compositional works of Philip Josephs, the production skills of Tony Hoult and the outstanding voice of Ann Declercq. 'EL'E'VEN may lay claim to be truly European with its members spread across Spain, Germany and Belgium, broadening both its musical and cultural horizons.
