WHAT SOME FANS ARE ALREADY SAYING ABOUT "ANOTHER KIND OF FIRE"... I really felt the need to write you and tell you how absolutely wonderful I think the new record is. The production is gorgeous, the songs are some of the strongest you've ever written and the performances are incredible. I can tell by watching them they know love much better than I do, and I can learn lots from them. The Night pulled me into the bathroom and shut the door behind, to give me a much-needed talking to and some sage advice. The other songs, at this point, are deep and lovely, although speaking more quietly, knowing that soon Ill love them, when we get to know each other, when theyre in my blood. The disc, due out September 19th independently on Accidental Poet, maintains much of the organic, woody sound of its predecessor, When I Was Made (2004), touted by Harp Magazine as "a little country, a little adult-contemporary, and a lot of fine music."
