notes

Eddie Ramirez has been, for over a decade now, considered one of the premier bass players in the Northwest. In that time he has established himself as a recognized worship leader, producer, and songwriter.

Eddie's musical roots reach back to age 10, when he began playing bass guitar in a band with his brothers. They grew up playing music together and went on to record and tour extensively throughout the United States and Mexico under the names of "Abarim," and "Thee Image."

After moving to Spokane, WA in 1991, Eddie began working as a producer, session bassist for local recording studios. He also played and led worship at his church, and in 1998, became the director of worship at Harvest Christian Fellowship.

In 2000, Eddie began traveling and playing bass for Israel Houghton & New Breed, and went on to produce a Spanish worship album for Israel entitled "Nueva Generacion", which was released internationally by Integrity Music.

While Eddie's musicianship and production abilities have garnered him attention throughout the United States, Mexico, and South America, he is now focusing his abilities on promoting his first full-length solo album, entitled "INFINITE". This unique project weaves together Eddie's diverse range of styles and musical influences. The lyrics are simple and down-to-earth, yet they carry a spiritual, constant, and worshipful tone that gives the album an uncommon depth.

Eddie continues to travel the U.S. and Mexico regularly as a producer, musician, worship leader, and as a solo artist.

  • Great cd with blend of different styles
    author: Julian W.

The music is catchy & filled w/substance. The artist poured out his heart into his lyrics & you cannot help being drawn into his experience. This a must have for any music collection. Great job Eddie!

  • This CD sneaks up on you. . .
    author: Steve Crosby

This CD sneaks up on you. . . in a good way. Listen to it closely when you have time. The lyrics are substantive and the music progressive . . . no cheesy, cheap, pop progressions . . . well written, well arranged, well mixed, particularly clear vocals. By the way, Eddie is one of the best bass players on the planet, as well as possesing a thoroughly distinctive acoustic guitar style. Bassists and guitar players will love the muscianship on this album. Personal favorite tracks are Changed the Way and A Box.

  • Well said. Well played. Well sung.
    author: Steve Bridge

The songs Eddie writes and sings give an insight into a life with the infinite God in finite man. On "Forever", Eddie exclaims, "Oh, God forever will I worship you my Father...I am yours until the end of time." And on "It's Your Grace In Me", he affirms that it's Jesus that has placed within his heart a key that only love will ever measure all he's done in his life. Finally, on the so-simple title track "Infinite", Eddie testifies: "I can see beyond today/I have hope for my tomorrows/I can walk another mile/Because of you/Because your love/Your love is infinite." He attributes his album to the Almighty: "It's from you, through you, and to you". Well said. Well played. Well sung.

  • Outside The Box...
    author: A New Fan

This CD is one of a very few that I have enjoyed in a long time. When most music is going in the same direction Eddie spins it in a different one. The soul and groove oriented flavor is what caught my attention. Then the depth of the song lyrics kept me. "Grace You've really made a fool of me, I always thought you'd be the first to leave" it’s lines like this that are saying much more than what they appear to be saying. Do yourself a favor; pick up this CD, you won’t regret it.

  • eddie conquers the abstract
    author: scott barnes

I liked the deep soulful sound of the insturments, I thought the vocals were excelent, the way some abstract problems of life were brought out and solved using the love of God; Jesus Christ. My hat is off for this C.D. , it is the real deal.

  • Solid Groove - Smooth Melodies
    author: Wayne Farris

Ramirez has unvieled a disc with solid grooves and smooth melodies. His bass playing is both creative and subtle, funky yet clean. His voice is real, powerful, sensitive and everything in between. The sound is far beyond your typical indie CD.

  • Shows potential for future excellence.
    author: Matt Shell

Better production than the average independent CD. I most enjoy the worshipful tone on track 5. Shows potential for future excellence.
