notes
This is Rich Eberlen’s first solo guitar effort. He started playing guitar when he was in the sixth grade after he was given a guitar for Christmas. In high school he joined as many bands as time allowed including his school’s Jazz band and Dixieland band. After high school he turned his attention to Classical music.
A pivotal point in his musical life happened in 1990 when he joined the Air Force Band in San Antonio Texas and then later the Texas Air National Guard Band. During his 13 years in the Air Force he performed in a variety of ensembles and toured the southwest and parts of Europe.
After his experience in the Air Force he returned to playing solo guitar. Some of his favorite guitarists include Sabicas, Pepe Romero, Joe Pass, John Scofield, Leo Kottke, Michael Hedges, Billy McLaughlin, Lenny Breau, Jeff Beck and Eddie Van Halen. He now divides his spare time writing for guitar and exploring the two-handed tapping technique on his patented experimental instrument he named the Solene.

Nice solo guitar
author: John O'ConnorA little more emotional than most of the New Age solo guitar stuff, and a little more driving as well. Nice technique, good original tunes and a good presence. A very worthy guitar CD.
