On this album, I have taken some earlier instrumental recordings of the past couple years and added lyrics to them in addition to including various soundscapes and a solo vocal piece sung by a woman-friend of mine, Robin Ritz.
Most of the lyrics are based on an obscure book of poems that I found a copy of while on a used book buying spree up the coast of Maine.
The combination of Carlyle Fahlsworth Straub's words changed into poetical lyrics-- sung/whispered in a soft manner, the Native flute, percussion, the soundscapes that I created with a looping delay, and Robin's solo, create a CD which will stir one's primitive, dark-spiritual, and ceremonial aspects of subconsciousness.
