Mweya was a song written to bring people together threw the spirit of love. This album also shows how Dumi's writing and compositions began to expand from just his shona influence's. "Koloi" is a song that has a South African sound, while the harmonies still give you the feel of Zimbabwe. This album also shows how Dumi's compositions began to take on a sound that was sure to get world wide radio play had he continued to expand his music. Unfortunately Dumi passed away in 1999 from a stroke while living in Zimbabwe. But threw his music Dumi will continue to touch lives while in heaven. As Dumi said best, "Let the spirit be upon the people, so that we can all move together".... Mweya
