Deep in the redwood forests of Northern California comes the new band, DRUID SISTERS TEA PARTY, an all girl groove band that you cannot sit still for. Mixing Celtic jigs with fat funky jungle grooves, adding beautiful lead female trance type vocals that move from drifty and dreamy to kick butt, acoustic and electric guitar adds spice and rock, deep earthy cello holds the bottom down...from Ireland to the Middle East it's a fun and up dance treat!
Drummer/Percussionist-band leader Claudia Paige has had the great opportunity of playing drums with bands from Linda Perry, Grateful Dead, Tito Puente, Zap Mama and more! Lead singer-songwriter Cyoakha Grace joins the Druids from tribal-trance band LAND OF THE BLIND and invites you to the Tea Party, a Mad Hatters delight. Marcie Brown on celo, joins Druids from Cirque du Soliel and adds her flavor into the wild stew of world fusion, she's the gypsy swirls and avant twirls and some rich deep tones of the earth.

I spend a lot of time on the road, and if I can repeat it over and over...it's one I highly recommend. I've even spread the word to other friends who may be interested! author: Ninah PixieAnyone who plays this CD will find it most difficult to sit still -- from the very first tune it will have you jumpin' a jig, whirling, swaying, and headbanging yourself into a blissful, rocking state of mind. If you enjoy this CD (which was created from one of their live gigs and then juiced up with all kinds of amazing instruments in their studios), you should definitely check them out when they're performing live near you (or follow them to one of their secret pagan-witchy-druid-faerie gatherings in one of those exotic forests or deserts they are fond of frequenting!).
