No More Waiting is a self-produced CD release from Drew Vics, a New Jersey based singer/songwriter. Drew has been writing and recording since the early 90's. No More Waiting marks the first collection of songs made available on CD or for download to a wider audience through CDBaby.

No More Waiting was recorded and produced in a digital home studio, with two other musicians sitting in on a couple of the tracks. Many of the songs are reminiscent of artists like Tom Petty and Fastball (some have even said Blues Traveler), but with a distinct blend of country and rock similar to Keith Urban, and a progressive edge which lends an original, dynamic quality to catchy melodies and clever, poignant lyrics.

Drew performs guitars, bass, keyboards, percussion and vocals, and also arranged and programmed the drum sequences. Additional keyboard and piano work appears on the tracks Far Away and Sorry, performed by Drew's long-time friend and musical collaborator John Frawley. Guitarist Jay Baney sits in on some rhythm and lead work in the track So Right.

Drew's songs have appeared on radio, a northern New Jersey compilation entitled Local Color, and on various podcasts online. He is working on new material for a future CD release. Date is yet to be determined.

  • Far away is my favorite, it's a great song.
    author: Sean Murphy

I have been listening to Drew's music for years, his live performance is just as good as his studio work. Far away is my favorite, I can't pin point what the song does for me, but it's great. Keep rocking Drew!

...there are messages in each song for all walks of life. And [Drew] certainly knows how to get that message to you... An Extreme High Caliber of Talent... • Strong start for New Jersey rocker Drew Vics!
    author: Laura Turner Lynch

No More Waiting is the debut release from singer, songwriter, guitarist, keyboardist and producer Drew Vics. This seven-track collection is about life and love. In addition to crafting and arranging all the music, Vics also created the cover artwork and liner notes for the album. This multi-talented man brings heart and soul to his music, which is both unique yet universal. His compositions are a blend of classic rock and progressive with shades of the blues, jam and country. The songs are heavy on guitars and Drew uses the talk box on a number of tracks adding vibrant hews to well crafted songs. Vics' production is crisp yet relaxed and his vocals have a smooth but husky quality. I liked the CD as a whole but of particular note was 'So Right' with its catchy country twang melding with an up-tempo-rock beat. It featured a few short guitar jams giving the song depth and character. It was followed by the edgy 'Forty Winks'. Drew uses the talk box on this track to add drama and dynamics to strong rhythms and compelling lyrics. No More Waiting is a strong start for New Jersey rocker Drew Vics!

  • Great guitar and vocals.
    author: Andrew and Norma Vics

Great guitar and poignant vocals. Drew seems to be very comfortable with his music which shows in his relaxed vocal style. His music has an easy flow and some nice special effects. In Forty Winks the talk box adds almost a steel guitar sound. Finishes up with our favorite, Far Away

  • This music does what music should, it rocks!

This music does what music should, it rocks! It has great grooves, great hooks, excellent guitar work, and a truly refreshing lyric style. Drew makes excellent use of the classic talk box in the song "Forty winks" and I'm sure all guitar players and guitar fans alike will love it, it's wild. Awesome CD, can't wait to hear what's next! -Jon
