notes

Newcomer, Dorothea Lorene, steps right in front with her debut album "Living Life on the Limit."
Produced by Uwe Goetz Kaiser and Dorothea Lorene, the album is a diverse blend of thirteen songs including the four classics, "Fly Me to the Moon", "Only You", "Dream a Little Dream", and "50 Ways.”
Listen with an open mind because this CD is full of twists and turns. Its passionate mixture of ballads, fat pop tunes and earthy blues songs flawlessly reveal this singer’s unique style.
The CD’s promotional single "1506 McCrary St." is an infectious song about D Lorene's childhood. You’ll feel like you’re right there in the street with her as she recalls her roots. The title song "Living Life on the Limit" lets you know that this CD is more than just about creating a mood, it also delivers a timely message. "Keep The Faith" (written by Eli Anderson) is a ‘jazzy-bluesy’ ballad, produced with vocals, piano and guitar, lending an unplugged feel. In the same vein, but with love as its theme "It's You Who I Believe" is a mid-tempo blues jam that goes back to the old school style and flavor. The Orchestra-Mix of the wonderful love song "Me in You" (written by Horst Lietz and Gorden Bonnie Jo) takes flight and soars you along on its wing. "Time for a Real Big Change" urges positive change in the world with its strong melody and gospel sounding choir. "A Friend is a Friend" (written by Max Hughes, a friend of Dorothea’s) is about not being afraid to admit you were wrong. The melody and hook lines in this song deliver a lasting message. And finally "Things Change" (written by Sam Corley III) is all about inspiration and hope, rounding out the selection with a realistic maturity far beyond her years. Without a doubt, the extraordinary voice of Dorothea Lorene takes you on an emotional journey that you’ll want to take again and again.

Hello everyone,
I have some good news. My début album is finished. The title is "Living life on the Limit".
That means that I am living, working, loving, and making my dreams come true. I have taken things to the limit and now I am "Living Life on the limit" and loving it. The Album is published under the label "Sickum Straight Music witch just happens to be my new record label. I decided to go for it and take my chances.
Check out my dates for upcoming concerts, and a big thank you to all of my fans for your support.

Within the last couple of years a lot has happen and the world is ever changing rapidly everyday. I am not big on politics but I realize we must all do our part to try and make things better for the future.
Check out "Time for a real big change'.
