Glorious
author: MattAmazing CD... Love the unique and creative sounds throughout the whole CD. Every song is inspires a different emotion and paints a unique picture. Contradictions is giving the Flaming Lips a little competition in regards to creativity.
Retro and contemporary at the same time
author: DanThis CD lays on all the pop flourishes you could ask for: background oohs and ahs, a wild mix of instrumentation (including some electronics), and heartfelt singing. At points it reminded me of the Beach Boys, the Beatles, Electric Light Orchestra, even Pink Floyd -- but all with a modern take and excellent sound. Ear candy!
