Don Stewart: Vocalist
Don's roots in music came from gospel singing in church.
He formed his first band at the age of 13.
Music and theatre have always been part of his lifr. Since moving to Vancouver, his objective was in theatre and film, until working with Linton Garner, who asked "Why don't you have a CD?". Don has two now.
Don Stewart is gifted with a pure voice and 4 octave range. He charms audienced with his rich low tones that smoothly reach a sweet high tenor. With influence that range from Nat King Cole to Stevie Wonder, toucehing on Motown sounds, to musical theatre, his music creates a mood, stirs and emotion and evokes memories or feelings.
Those who listen with sight and sound will be mesmerized and surly entertaind. Those who only listen would enjoy the atmosphere created.
He has performed with orchestras to combos. But above all that it is the "voice" his distinctive sound that sets him apart
Romancing the audience would be a true summery.
