From 1978 to 1985 Donnybrook Fair were the darlings of the Irish club scene in the states. From the Pig and Whistle in New York to the Patriot Game in California, from the Irish Village in Chicago, the Blarney Stone in Pittsburgh, The Irish American Club of Detroit, McCaffertys in St. Paul and countless clubs ,pubs and festivals in between.

For ten years the lads traveled across the USA doling out their particular brand of Irish folk music. Kevin McKrell, David McDonnell and Jeff Strange combined strong and imaginative instrumentation with powerful and stunning vocals. This CD " Tunnel Tigers " documents the music of those years.

    This brings back memories from the early 80's. Irish bars in Albany and Schenectady, NY. Lost my tape from years ago...A great re-discovery!

    I had a friend give me a cassette in 1982-83 and I lost it over the years and have not been able to find a cd. I only vaguely remembered the name Donnybrook Fair and now with the power of the internet AND YOUR WEBSITE I found the exact album. It's a great sound.

    I could not find this CD anywhere online, and just by pure luck, I found this website, and I will be forever thankful! I haven't heard Donnybrook Fair in years, and the music sounds as good now as it did then. I'm looking for their greatest hits next!!

    This was my favorite album in the 80s. I just got it on CD and it still rocks. It is a great sing along CD for long car trips. I can't wait to get back to the Capital District and try to catch the reunion show!

    I purchased this bands album (vinyl) back in the mid-80's. Since I don't have a record player anymore I can't play it. You don't know how thrilled I was to find this available on CD. My husband got it for me for Christmas and I have been listening to it almost every day. This CD brings back great memories for me and I love all the music on it.
