No beating round the bush
author: Stephen StrikeOne of my favorite albums of 2008.Donnie has one of those voices like Willie Nelson that captures humanity so well.Backed by musicians to die for, this album will make you smile. Thanks to Dan Penn for producing this gem, aint it about time you put out another album.
Vintage gold
author: Sergey VereykinSome things grow old but never change. Mr Fritts keeps on having fun sharing it with the listeners. And it's still groovy after all these years!
One Foot In The Groove
author: Mark BarkerFunky Donnie IS DA MAN!!! He's alwasy been one of my favorite songwriters, so this record does not surprise me. He eat up with soul. This record is vintage Fritts. So great to hear him recording again. Thanks Donnie for keeping one foot in the groove. Bless you, Brother.
All My Friend
author: Yossi MuraiThis is a song of the mind. Though it cries. It was able to have courage. I think that I am very glad because it can hear it in Japan. Thank you Donnie..
Hey Fritts...
author: VernGood to hear you doing it so, so right all over again...we can always count on you & Professor Penn. Thanks for waxing the perfect sweet soul soundtrack to the Summer of'08! Right in the pocket, per usual, Bro. Peace, Love & Amen!
The best of this year
author: Akira SasaThere is the groove that I cannot bring about if the performance fertile forever is an expert and can cry while being simple making it think that I would create such a music when Basho Matuo lives with an American in now. Listen to a truck in the last from the album beginning, and love you,; but, as for my best truck 4, is 8, 10 for the moment. The guitar which Tony Joe does not play is full of expression by eloquence forever.
