This is my 7th album of songs here on CD Baby. You may go to any of my other albums such as my last one Holding Diego and read my bio info.
I began my singing and guitar playing in Miami, Fla., in the '60's. Learning and playing in the coffee houses. Was spellbound by Joan Baez and Dylan.
Fred Neil appeared often, he wrote "Everybody's Talkin". In 1976, our country blues band recorded a live CD, which is called: Country Collection and is offered here on CDBaby. In 1978, I won the Peter, Paul and Mary singer, songwriter contest in L.A. You can check out my albums here to track my journey.
Since I've lived here in Kauai, Hawaii, I've recorded 3 albums. This current album, "Bright Red Sunset" reflects the feeling of this island quite well. Mixed with acoustic and electric sounds, ballads, soft rock and kickin blues songs.
There is a song that was not easy to write, "Upside Down"(for those in the midst of Katrina) on this album and it has become my favorite because of how deeply I had to go to touch into folks without actually being there in New Orleans. I am a folk singer, it's just what I am and thank God. Thank you for listening.
