D. Jackson age 22 born Derrick Jackson has been writing since age 16. His mother left, his father left, and his family turned away. D.Jackson was raised by his sisters' grandmother. He ran away from home at age 17 to meet his long lost father. He left in the middle of the night and caught a flight to Georgia. The first song was already written. D.Jackson decided to stop the commercial rap and put his real life in music form. After all the drug dealing the court cases dealing with a dead beat father and a strung out mother. D. Jackson birthed "MERCY".
