notes
Synthesizing the influences of literature and film as much as other musical traditions, Disparition creates an aural language all its own on Satellite State. The result is a series of sound chronicles of the hidden corners of the world. Disparition is currently working on a new album to be released in 2006.
Raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, composer Jon Bernstein has been playing piano for some 20 years and making electronic music for 8 years. Recent commissioned projects include scoring several San Francisco Bay Area plays, including the world premiere of Middleflight, and composing the soundtrack for Dead Ringer, an independent movie currently in post-production.
