this specialized crypticon release came from a vision for the necessity of a disc to contain pure streams of crowd noise. this would allow many different outlets once the dirty work of mixing and compiling the sounds was complete, and now the goal is basically to fake the ambience of the room with a crowd that doesn't exist!
you can do it here, from a cocktail party you are trying to make sound livelier, to a 2,ooo person party with the ambient backdrop of an even bigger crowd, this disc can help in so many ways from confidence boosting and even performance art pieces, as well as funnier uses like for aspiring comedians (or even to liven up your bedroom...)!

    Just what I needed to add ambiance to my live recordings - mostly because, despite how pro you are in a live setting, it takes a lot to mic and audience for this kind of feel ! These tracks deliver - every one of them in their own way - loved it !

    I was searching "google" for crowd noise and this site popped up. I listened to the tracks. I was excited to find just what I was looking for. My only disappointment was not having a list of the tracks on the CD like they were listed on the website. Price was right and so was the CD.

    Listened to the samples in my car stereo, sound pretty decent. Nice variety of ambiences, will fit the bill perfectly (simulate a live audience when mixing a rock band). Not all samples sound as crispy as the first few ones, though. Don't think it will compromise my mix quality, but thought it would be useful to warn other potential buyers. Honest price; found a couple of samples on the web that would cost as much as this full-hour CD! Recommended.
