'Catalyst 18' features 21 original songs by eighteen of the hottest female singer/songwriters in the United States and Canada today. All profits from the sale of this CD are being donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation NBCF).

The artists include Alicia Grant, Dana Meredith, Kellee Bradley, Valerie DeLaCruz, Alex Bach, Danielle McKee, V.K. Lynne, Ember Swift, Jennifer Lynn, Marina V, Allison Cipris, Jill Zutty, Lane Brody, Claudia DiNatale, Cynthia Dillenbeck, Sam Shaber, Ripe, and Groovelily.

The mission of the NBCF (www.nationalbreastcancer.org) is to save lives by increasing awareness of breast cancer through education and by providing mammograms for those in need. In addition, the NBCF provides research support to the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center (www.mdanderson.org), which is one of the world's most respected centers devoted exclusively to cancer patient care, research, education and prevention. The NBCF reports that this year in America, more than 211,000 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer and 43,300 of those women will die. In addition, 1,600 men will be diagnosed with breast cancer and 400 will die this year. However, if breast cancer is detected early, the five-year survival rate exceeds 95%.

    I am impressed with this cd for it is going to a good charitable cause. And most of all these beautiful women are very talented and awesome to contribute to the production of this CD. I give these amazing artists high praise and discovergirls.com for selling this cd for a very good price. I bought not only one but a few to give out to my female friends. Peeps, pls Buy it!!!

    This cd is proof that there is a lot of great talent out there that corporate America doesn't want us to find. I applaud Discovergirls for finding these great women and for their charitable cause. There are tons of great songs on the cd, and most of them should be on mainstream radio. A definite buy!
