Debauchery, Excess, Blood, Sweat and Alcohol, Dirty Angels were formed out of the extreme lack of all of these words from modern day Rock 'n' Roll. Pissed off at the small minded-ness of their home-town Dirty Angels came together with the plan to not only be the best, but to be the loudest, tightest, rudest and sexiest band ever to come out of Shitsville, Scotland. A plan that has already earned them that title.
Late 2005, Friends since High School, Greg(Vocals), Ross(Guitar) and Rob(Guitar) took to a friends practice room to begin writing some future classics. After initially recording one song, the now infamous Wont you be, a deal was struck with U.S based Glass Manacle Records after they heard it on Dirty Angels Myspace profile. Now with the presence of a Record Label, Greg, Ross and Rob had to find someone suitable for all round drumming craziness, two words, Fraser Graham. Fraser was quickly called and became part of the band, lending his ferocious drumming and clever vocal harmonies to the mix perfectly. Continuing to write now with a new member, the songs flowed out effortlessly but something was wrong, with Greg singing and holding Bass duties the songs seemed to need something more........a full time bass player, again, two words, Scott Burns. Now with a full band and recording dates scheduled Dirty Angels thrived, churning out song after song. On entering the studio Dirty Angels laid down some kick ass sounds with producer Grant Henderson of Machine Room Studios. After about a month of on off recording it was done.
Dirty Angels hit the live music scene like an out of control runaway train and played to capacity audiences in Scotlands premier live music clubs, gaining and cementing their reputation as the best, loudest, tightest, rudest and sexiest band going. With a U.S tour in early 2007, Dirty Angels are poised to become the next 'big thing' in modern Hard Rock, and will challenge any doubters who say otherwise. Decide for yourselves.

Ross Angel Bio

Born 29th May 1983, a date that has been noted in the Motley Crue Biography, The Dirt, as being 'the day Rock 'n' Roll was born'. How Nikki Sixx was aware of my birth is beyond me( i think he was referring to his bands first appearance at a festival but lets just pretend its me ok?) but hey the guys knows his stuff so whos arguing?
Growing up in a small town in the South West of Scotland, I became interested in music from a young age, hearing the likes of Guns 'n' Roses Appetite for Destruction, Van Halen I from older cousins i couldnt get enough of this music.
Christmas Day 1995, walked downstairs to the usual sights of brightly wrapped presents and my dog attacking them from the smell of chocolate. I noticed an oddly shaped present, of course i opened this first, would you believe it! An electric guitar. It was a telecaster copy in sunburst. It looked cool as Fuck, shame i didnt know how to play it. So it began, almost 11 years ago, and in that time i have been through countless guitars, amps not to mention so much cash it hurts to think about it!
My first band was called 'Shan' and was my first introduction into the wonders of playing in a band. Not only did playing in a band give a sense of freedom, but also a sense of belonging. At long last i had found something that was me.
As is always the case, High School bands never stay together as the pressure for kids to go to College is immense, thus the end of 'Shan'.
For whatever reason, College did not appeal to me. Maybe i was scared but i think i always knew what i wanted, to play music.
After leaving school, and turning 18, life wasnt goin anywhere fast and the need to play music was gettin greater and greater.
The near suicide of a close friend was the catylyst for the earliest incarnation of what was to eventually become 'Dirty Angels'. Friends from school had a new band, and i was asked to join. We gigged around for a while until a couple of members went off to College, they were quickly replaced and with a new name, continued gigging. All was going great but it wasnt to last. We decided to call it a day after 3 years of madness, Only to pick things back up after a year apart with the name Dirty Angels.

Well what can I say? Music has fucked up my life and saved it in equal measures. I think I was 8 when I heard appetite for destruction and from that day I’ve never wanted to do anything else. I have been lucky enough to meet and grow up with the best and craziest bunch of rockers going and we’ve been through a lot, especially in a town that likes to sweep its bad apples under the carpet and stand on them. We might stand out like a bad smell, but we’re not going away! We’ll take our fight onto the stage and who knows what can happen. This is for all the people that don’t fit the mould.

    I love the singer's accent! If you listen closley you can tell they are from Scotland!! It's so cute. I totally love this CD. My favorite song is Sparkling Eyes.
