I was happy to track down Dial's "168k" thru CD Baby. First heard the band streaming on WFMU out of N.J. It's a nice little nugget for those of us who like to push the envelope a little. It pulses and swaggers and sounds a bit tinny, but it's all good. Should I allocate all five stars? I'm in a good mood, and will do so because I champion Dial's striving to balance lyricism with dissonance.
