This is a metaphysical musical dedication: It's pretty out there because you expected cover tunes of Bowie by Hart and Ra! Nope that ain't it. It's stranger than that. It's the affect that Bowie music had on us and then we made music in that affected state. How strange is that? Pretty freaken strange. Thing is we did it, it exists and now we're committed
Yeah it's fun having fun because we have our own little party going on and no one knows about it. Give listen.

All joking aside it's just a really strange way to approach making new music but we did it and thought OK let's release it.

Johnny saves the world is a spoof, as is Space Monkeys, The night sits motionless is for Timothy Leary,Laughter of Life is a serious song. And we all knew he was a Dancer is a song about us knowing Bowie would be famous after he was famous but we knew before, after you knew after the fact visionaries.Aren't those the smartest ones?
We knew Fame would be famous three years after it was a smash hit and we told everyone long after that we knew before and after.
Song for David Bowie is all Bowie song titles fitted together to make no sense what so ever but we tried and we knew that wasn't going to be a big hit long before we made it.
Let's see counting on 55 has no meaning what so ever but was affected by Station to station by Bowie and we dreamed up that the guy was on a train going home to some girl and she knew he was coming even though he forgot to text her.

This is deep stuff.There's nothing between the lines it''s all right up front.Clear as mud.

So you should have the gist of things now. Bowie laughed or well we predicted that David Bowie laughed once. I'm sure we're right. We were going to write a song about the powers of lithium but our minds went blank.

Really In all honesty, Honestly, perhaps we were affected the very most by the song Kooks! We're in that lovers story and we're not sorry! So take a chance on a couple of kooks hung up on Romancing!

David Hart and Amun Ra " A Dedication to David Bowie" is all original music by David Hart & Amun Ra, a Canadian Band based out of Stubville, Canada.
David Hart & Amun Ra has evolved to become " Open Eye Universe" with a new release coming this spring 2004.Amun Ra is the Sun God. He flew in from Florida to record with us. He stays there in the cold winters and summers in Canada's Muskoka's.Fly's a huge Mosquito south every year.

This album won the International hog calling contest in Tweeterville North Dakota three years in a row because it was the only entry!
Hogs are still migrating from Texas to North Dakota. Don't play this album too loud. We'll not be responsible for any Hogs at your house. There is a soon to be released country version.Get out of town will be the main hit.
