notes
Dewey Erney on vocals and Gerry Schroder on piano weave a magic spell on this album of love songs - happy songs, sad songs and some in between. On four of the tracks, the saxophone playing of Tom Kubis adds spark to these beautiful renderings.
In writing the liner notes for this recording, Michael Lund says, "If there was one word that describes Dewey's talents to a "T" for me, I would say that word is his HONESTY with a lyric. You'll never hear any artificiality in Dewey's reading of a lyric. It's always right from the heart. Gerry Schroeder provides such wonderful solo playing and accompaniment, as does Tom Kubis."
