This is a recording I made with the original Ron Eschete Trio Ron, guitar; Luther Hughes, bass; John Perett, drums. It was released on vinyl and cassette in early 1986. It is now being released on CD for the very first time. I am extremely proud of this as we have some very inventive arranagements here and some of The Great American Songbooks finest songs: ie; All the Things You Are, The Song Is You, Angel Eyes, etc. There are two tunes which were never released -- Pure Imagination and Desafinado.
I have made it a goal to be able to release previous albums that didn't make it to the CD mode. There will be one more after this one. I feel that the performances on this recording are first rate and the arrangements are terrific. This has worn very well over the years and I am sure that you will be impressed with the accomplishments we all achieved.
