notes
My name is Deva-kant , some say I sound like Creed with some Southern Rock feeling , Some say Country crossover , others say it reminds them of 80's rock. My music is a spiritual journey , from the depths of drug abuse and chaos , to the heights of meditation and awakening to a clean blue sky , this album represents my love and my search for personal freedom, for rebellion , for truth. My writing is driven by a need to share all that I have. This album is for everyone in search , this album is for you.
Peace Deva-kant.
Deva-kant's Musical influences are: Bad Company, Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, Lynard Skynard, Rolling Stones.

I Love it!
author: Brittani MooreI Love the Lyrics and the voice! I am an army wife, my husband is currently deployed. we love all of the songs on this CD, but the "Holding on to Remembering" song is deffinetly our song for this long deployment. It is always wonderful to find a song that can help explain what your feeling and going through, and Deva-Kant deffinetly hits the spot! I bought two CD's, I saved one for myself and mailed the other one to my hubby!
Music that hits home.
author: Dale S HazelThis is the kind of music that touches the deep part of the soul. And can take you back to those day of old.
wow. he's really good.
author: Donald M. WallaceDeva-kant is smooth and liquid, like water flowing across stone, with just enough of an edge to push back the trance -- at least on one of his tracks, 'Do it again'. Another, 'One Love' is a rock&roll number -- danceable, up-beat and moving. My personal favorite, though, is the title track, 'Holding onto Remembering'; reflective and slow, it reminded me of my own journey out of the darkness, and how precious that transformation was to making me who I am today. If you have not heard Deva-kant's music, I urge you to listen to the mp3's, and then buy the album.
With local musicians, Deva-kant's disc worth a listen
