JESSE CECI, VIOLIN
Jesse Ceci, solo violinist, chamber musician and concertmaster,has had a colorful career. He was Concertmaster of the Denver and Colorado Symphonies for over twenty years where he performed over thirty major solo works. Previously he had played in the Boston Symphony and the New York Philharmonic under Leonard Bernstein. He was also Concertmaster of the Casals Festival Orchestra in Puerto Rico. He has concertized extensively throughout the United States, Canada, Europe and Japan. He was a member of the Greenwich Piano Quartet, the New York String Quartet and the New York Philomusica Chamber Ensemble. The Denver Duo, in which he performed with pianist Zoe Erisman of the University of Colorado at Denver, has been giving concerts for many years throughout the region and beyond. More recently, Mr. Ceci spent two years as Concertmaster and soloist of the Royal Chamber Orchestra and the Royal Metropolitan Orchestra in Tokyo, Japan.
ZOE ERISMAN, PIANO
Zoe Erisman, pianist and composer, is a Professor at the University of Colorado at Denver. Her concertizing career has included solo programs in Germany, England, Italy, former Yugoslavia, Russia, China, Mexico as well as throughout the U.S. Her appearances include at Wigmore Hall, London and at the Moskow Conservatory. She has performed chamber music with Pierre Fournier, Mischa Mischakoff, Josef Gingold and others. The Orion recording “Zoe Erisman, pianist, plays Shostakovich” was released in Japan, Israel, Europe and the U.S and received favorable reviews in Ovationand American Record Guide. Her music compositions have been performedAt the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. , in China and at various music
festivals. She has recently appeared is a visiting Professor and pianosoloist in Izmir, Turkey. She is a Professor at the University of Colorado at Denver.
