notes
Dennis Heller is a singer-songwriter from New York.
He combines his gentle but passionate love for music and humor with his love and devotion for the well-being of planet Earth.
Donning his acoustic guitar and harmonica he sings about love, the environment, politics and other social concerns. Then with a wig and dark sunglasses, he'll transform himself into Bob Dylan.
Dennis has appeared as a featured guest on Joel Landy's award winning Cable-TV show "Songs of Freedom".
He has performed at the Warwick Valley Winery's music festivals sharing the bill with The Kennedy's, Sloan Wainwright, Cliff Eberhardt, Tim Harrison and others.
Here's what some fans have said about his debut cd:
"Brought me back to my growing up in the 60's and listening to Bob Dylan...while listening to Queen Jane Approximately and She Belongs To Me, I thought Bob Dylan was in my living room." Ed W.
"It's phenomenal! I just can't get over it!!!!!! A real winner!!! I am blown away. You did it! Keep up the good work...and do more cd's." Vickie R.
"I enjoyed it very much, was surprised by the backup singers and extra instrumentation! I was expecting the usual solo guitar-and-harmonica, it was a pleasant surprise to hear something a little different. I know some of my "regulars" already ordered it from CD-Baby!" David P.
Note: All songs on this CD are written by Bob Dylan except for "Baby, Let Me Follow Your Down" written by Rev. Gary Davis and "Thalia (Goddess of Joy)" written by Dennis Heller and Helena Lind.

Any collector of Dylan covers would want to have this!
author: Steve Sevek producer of CD titled: THINKING ABOUT BOB DYLANSome of these songs sound so much like Dylan and yet not like any true Dylan renditions that you've heard before - it makes you wonder if this was from some studio session Dylan himself recorded at an earlier time but later than the original release of these songs. But no -- it's not Dylan -- It's Dennis Heller!! Also the original song on the disc, THALIA, was also very good and gives listeners a taste of what Dennis sounds like when he's not imitating Dylan. I think I'd like to hear him do Dylan's songs in this same true Dennis Heller fashion without the obvious Dylan impersonation. I think that would be equally enjoyable if not more so.
Fantastic!!!
author: Rev. Bob McCartonFinally, someone has recorded Dylan like Dylan. Well, kinda like Dylan. I love the energy Dennis exudes on this CD. Ya did it Dennis!!! Great job.
