In the musically bustling city of Boston, new singer-songwriters pop up on a daily basis, but few earn any lasting attention.

Kris Delmhorst has been commanding more and more of it, gaining momentum steadily since her arrival in town in 1996.

    This cd opens with a little funky guitar, traditional folk instruments and a great voice. Kim's voice has become a great tool for communicating the beauty of her songs. Now you don't focus on who else she might sound like but rather what a great instrument her voice has become. Awsome!

    I keep the CD on player for days at a time and play it over and over! The sounds range from folk to bluegrass, traditional and new. Great lyrics, wonderful tunes, some haunting, some inspirational. A must-have for folk lovers.

My favorite tho, is Little Wings. :) She manages to key into real emotions and turn them into songs that are far from trite or overdone.     this cd has an amazing energy to it. the melodies and lyrics are so original. i *highly* recommend it. don't even hesitate to buy this cd. i have bought a lot of cd's recently from cdbaby and this one is definitely at the top of my list.
