Melanie Dekker, from Vancouver, Canada, is an award-winning vivacious singer/songwriter and guitarist who has toured internationally to rave reviews and audiences who are left wanting more.
She writes her songs mostly on her guitar, though live she can surprise you with a beautiful ballad on piano too. Her songs have been splashed colorfully through feature films, television shows & top radio charts.
Melanie worked with legendary record producer David Kershenbaum to create this "Revealed" album. This collection of songs clearly represents the pinnacle of Melanie’s career to date as an artist and writer.

Melanie Dekker & Zabit Records, a division of Sonoma Mountain Entertainment LLC, have pledged $1 for each copy of Revealed sold exclusively through Cdbaby.com, for the first 1 million records sold. Proceeds will go to selected foundations to benefit wounded soldiers and their families. CD Baby is also matching $1 dollar for a total of $2 million dollars pledged to the cause.

Heartfelt for Military Personnel
author: KiI bought this cd specifically for the song Fall In - Wounded Soldier. My husband is active duty military and this song means so much to the ones who wear the uniform along with the ones who stand behind them. I wish more artists would sing about our fighting forces trials and triumphs. Thank you Melanie Dekker for remembering the forgotten heros!!
A Healing Song
author: Linda MishlerI bought this CD for my husband Michael for Memorial Day.He is a Vietnam Vet(Purple Heart) and is just recently going through a healing journey of release of his past.I made him a DVD of photos of him in Vietnam and had the song Fall In Wounded Soldier playing in the background. Our whole family watched it in honor of him on Memorial Day.It really choked him up,and was one more part of the healing process for him. Thank you for this beautiful song!!!

Awsome CD Great sound

The song really does hit home, and I am so pleased that some of the proceeds go to the wounded soldiers and their families. Melanie has a great voice and I love her style of singing. author: Kristy LindstromMy Dad is a Vietnam Vet (Alfred Lindstrom--served in the Marines in '66-'67), and he recently saw the video for Melanie Dekker's 'Fall In (Wounded Soldier)' on Military.com . He asked me to see if I could find a cd by Ms. Dekker because he loves the song, and he really likes her unique sound. I found the cd on CD Baby, and ordered it for him for Father's Day. 'Fall In' hits home, and I think everyone who both served in a war or has family who served can relate to the emotions the song evokes.
Fallin In Wounded Soldier

It is a truly emotional song and it is a great inspiration too all military wives and soldiers.

I think there is a little jazz and a little country mixed in overall and I could not say exactly what genre....but very pleasant mix with some great lyrics. Nicely surprised by the whole CD! Thanks, Melanie and I found an outdoor theatre here in Opatija, Croatia for your next European tour.
