Take the power pop hooks of Weezer, mix them with the dark harmonic grunge of Alice & Chains, add some Pantera-like shredding and you get close to describing DEiLUSIA's sound. DEiLUSIA is a talented band from the San Francisco Bay Area that isn't afraid to cross musical genres.

Listening to DEiLUSIA's music is like speeding down a twisting road of emotions. Their songs explore dark places filled with the pain of abandonment, disease, suicide and love. Underneath the darkness of their music, there is always an energetic undercurrent of optimism that grabs attention and maintains a groove. The insightful lyrics are like water: powerful and dynamic.

DEiLUSIA's goal is to bring meaning to a melody. The result is a passionate mix of alternative, pop, grunge, and metal. DEiLUSIA doesn't just write songs, they create great music that a listener can connect with and find deeper meaning in.

Strictly through word of mouth, the band sold over 900 copies of their first full-length album, titled "Mourning Star", in a matter of two months. During this time, DEiLUSIA became the most requested local band on the KSJO radio show "Home Grown" and their first single "Dried Out" was one of the most downloaded songs on mp3.com.

With a brand new self-produced full-length album, DEiLUSIA has taken their music to a new level. This band is a force to be reckoned with and is sure to leave their mark on the music scene.

    This current CD caters to the ear like a old friend that you haven't seen in years. There is so much to enjoy that the simple task of picking a favorite song makes my head spin. I was given a copy of the CD from a friend of someones related to a bandmember and I haven't stopped listening to it for weeks. *!#+%#*! I love this cd.

    **********Who said Music is dead?????***************** ~Bout time someone truly brought the Veins of music back to the body of Rock~ This band is one of the best kept secrets of the scene~ REDWOOD CITY (wont be a speck on the map for long with these guys around) You would have to be catatonic not to check these guys out.

    A MUST HEAR!!! The many face's incorporated into each track is what makes this newest release a real gem. The composition and execution is an excellent showcase of what this band is capable of unleashing upon the music scene. There is a certain edge in their ability to grasp the audience’s expectations, a real treat to turn up the volume and just "Rock-Out". I came away with the distinct feeling that I had gotten more then my money's worth. This band is functioning on pure talent and charisma, the likes that haven't been seen in a long time. It won't be long before the San Francisco bay area claims DEiLUSIA as one of its members in a long and glorious list of artist's with roots from the "City by the Bay". I highly recommend getting out to see the excitement DEiLUSIA rains down on stage. I had the good fortune of hearing this band while they were just starting to play around the local scene.     This cd is fast becoming a favorite of mine.Haunting lyrics and powerful vocals contrast with the sounds of the music itself, which ranges from melodic to heavy metal. The recording itself is amazing for a band who has done it all on their own; mixing and sound production is very, very well done and perfectly in balance. This band should be famous any minute now!
