Deep Red came into the Goth/Industrial scene in 1996, when they were "discovered" by German Industrial legends Project Pitchfork and signed on the spot to thier newly formed label
Candyland Entertainment. That same year, the band appeared in two ground breaking compilations from Cleopatra Records, "The Goth Box", which featured the ethereal masterpiece "Holy You", and "Silly Things" on "A Tribute To Siouxsie and The Banshees". The end of 1996 saw the release of DEEP RED'S first full length CD "The Awakening",
followed in early 1997 by the EP "I Live" which featured 3 re-mixes by then label mates Project Pitchfork. This was followed in 1997 by performing as the opening act in Project Pitchfork's “Chakra Red” European tour, where the band performed before thousands of fans at many of
the European continents’ most important cities. DEEP RED also had appearances in other compilations, including Orkus Magazines' "Strange Love". This was followed by the band's first US live shows. 1998 saw the release of another track on "The Carnival Within", a Dead Can Dance tribute also on Cleopatra Records. By 1999 the band founded their own record label, Osiris Soundworks, and released their second full length CD, "DarkwaterS", followed by more compilation appearances like "Venussa XX", by the well known Belgian Magazine Side Line. 2001 highlights included an appearance at Convergence VII, North America's longest running Goth/Industrial gathering. In 2002, their third CD, "Chimera" saw the light. This was Deep Red's most ambitious product at the time, featuring an interactive section and a video for the song "Moments". After a two year break and personnel changes, Deep Red has released their newest body of work, "Relics Of Desire", on January 17TH, 2007, featuring Aradia, our new vocalist.
