Album Notes

Deborah Bond's debut album, now firmly established as a genuinely grounded, earnestly soulful gem of a record, was the inspiration for this remixed experience. Asahra quite simply could not pass the opportunity to work with Deborah and her band 3rd Logic! Their talent immediately attracted the interest of producers from the D.C. metropolitan area. Others soon followed from all over the US and as far as Japan. The AfterDay voyage was planned and mixed by dj Stylus. The casting of this adventure is respectable to say the least... The following producers have graced this album: dj Afro (Los Amigos Invisibles), Jonathan Piette and X-Ray (All Massive), the Fort Knox Five (of Thunderball fame) Godfather Sage, Jask (Thaisoul Music), Julius Papp (NeoDisco), Light 4 Lines (Khaimar) rdm, dj Smash, Stevie G, T-Kolai (Asahra Music), dj Oji (Poji Records) Deborah's debut album is entitled DayAfter (2003) . This nu collection of inspired remixes, for use when the sun has set, in your car or before going out, dining or loungin sippin on a deliciously colorful cocktail... we call... AfterDay.

Excellent remix of her outstanding debut album
author: kool Breez
This remix album is excellent, even if there are two remix tracks (Keep on and giving up - the 'housy' mix))which in my opinion don't stand up to the rest of re-mixes. These two tracks to my mind are fillers where more thought could have gone into the re-mixes. However, not to distract from the other remixes because they are outstanding i.e. a message, don't waste your time, This is me and the far better Giving remix (not the 'housy' remix) I've played this on my radio show and received very positive responses......just like I do for the original album still. When is the next album?

Absolutely Fantastic!

I really liked her first CD but this one is by far one of the best CDs I bought this year. It is too bad we don't hear more of artists like her on the radio or that she doesn't get more recognition for her talent!
