Debé has been performing for about a million years now. She started her career in California, but a freakish tornado swept her up and dropped her in Columbus Ohio. While contemplating the meaning of life, Debé met her true love, a beautiful ivory-colored feather boa. Ever the fickle Aries, she soon had more than a dozen boas and was often seen flitting around town in one (or more) of them. In order to keep vicious rumors from ruining her reputation in the fairly conservative Midwest, she knew she needed a good cover story. However, there are few career options for a woman with a boa fetish. Her brief attempt at pole dancing ended badly, but was eventually settled out of court for an undisclosed sum of money. She considered comedy, but Phyllis Diller had the boa market pretty much covered there. That left Debé with only one alternative: to become a sultry chanteuse. Luckily, and to her loved ones’ great relief, Debé can sing. In fact, she’s pretty damn good. Debé has found her true calling, and now performs jazz, blues, Broadway, and pop with several talented and accomplished musicians. Since she loves to do everything ass-backwards, her debut CD is a holiday offering entitled Debé – Naughty and Nice. This CD features Debé on vocals, accompanied by the Bobby Hamlin Trio. The trio consists of Bobby Hamlin on piano, keyboards and some vocals, the very talented Brian Coon on saxophone, and the smooth and wonderful Rick Soriano on Drums. Debé and Bobby are currently collaborating on some of Debé original lyrics, and will be working in 2008 on the CD release of Well Rounded Woman, which includes many of her songs, with music and arrangements written by Bobby.

Enchanting, captivating
Delightful, enchanting, captivating renditions of our classic Holiday songs. Indeed, it's nice to have the Sounds of Christmas within earshot 365 days of the year. Looking forward to Debe's next release, A Well-Rounded Woman.
