deas vail played their first show on January 1st 2004.
The band originally consisted of Blaylock, Hudson, Harelson, and Cox.
By mid-January 2004, Jackson joined the band as the bassist.
A demo was soon recorded with producer/friend Dave Barton
During this time many shows were played. Mostly around Arkansas and a few surrounding states.
On August 23rd 2004 Bobby Jackson left to be with our Lord.
In October 2004 Jeremy Burns of Abel was asked to join the band as bassist.
As a band we've gone through a lot in the short 10 months we've been together. We continue to maintain our focus on our original goal of ministry.
We serve to reach out to a spiritually lost upcoming generation through our music, actions, and message.

Few albums have been so addicting as This Place is Painted Red. Musically speaking, Deas Vail's arrangements are positively breathtaking. In the same merit their lyrics are flawless and without pause or inquisition to the message therin.

I've been waiting forever for it to be available to purevolume listeners to me, and I'm so thankful that I'm able to hear it in my room whenever I want because I love the indie-rock, melodic sounds that come from it!
